Nigerian becomes first African to win International Tennis award

tenniss                                                                            A 26 year old Nigerian international tennis player, Quadri Aruna has won the 2014 International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), making him the first African to win the coveted prize. The  award ceremony  was held at the Armani Hotel in Dubai  on January 1st, Aruna defeated  Portugal’s Marcos Freitas and Chinese pair Fan Zhendong and Xu Xin which won him the coveted prize. He is ranked 30th best tennis player in the world. Quadri Aruna Determination brought him  success in the playing arena and made him a star in Dubai.t2photos are “by courtesy of the ITTF”.
